Collected Possibilities

As part of Open Eye Gallery’s ongoing collaboration with the FdA / BA (Hons) Top Up in Digital Imaging and Photography Courses at the Hugh Baird University Centre (which are validated by the University of Central Lancashire), we are pleased to present a curated exhibition showcasing work from the BA final year students.

Open Eye Gallery’s Executive Director Sarah Fisher and Curator Thomas Dukes have worked closely with the staff and undergraduates, providing critical feedback and suggesting creative direction on these final projects.

“As a public gallery we exhibit many nationally or internationally acclaimed photographers who have established a powerful voice through their work. Increasingly we are interested in working with the next generation of photographers and finding new voices. Our work with the Hugh Baird University Centre undergraduates has been enlightening – as a cohort, these photographers have something meaningful to say and their tutors have provided them with the skills, experience and knowledge to say it well.” Sarah Fisher, Director of Open Eye Gallery.

The Hugh Baird University Centre offers the only degree in digital imaging and photography in Liverpool. To find out more about the courses, visit the website www.hughbaird.ac.uk/university-centre/photography
