Jessica Slack: Sense of Wonder
Venue: Scale Liverpool, 68-76, The Tapestry, Kempston Street, Liverpool, L3 8HL
Date: Saturday 14th August 2021
Contemporary abstract artist Jessica Slack is hosting her second solo-art show ‘Sense of Wonder’ in August. After what has been an incredibly tough year, it’s about time for a big celebration!
After completing the 50-day floral challenge earlier this year, Jessica will be exhibiting brand new work inspired by meadows of flowers, flora and fauna, warm summer evenings and blossoming buds. Think a sea of colour; pale pinks, sage greens, rich lavenders, you get the picture!
“Sense of Wonder is the feeling you get when walking through a meadow full of colourful wild flowers shining in the sunlight. Sense of Wonder is the mesmerising feeling you get when experiencing something fresh and beautiful. Sense of Wonder evokes memories of childhood, pf exploring overgrown gardens, fields and meadows in the countryside with no cares in the world; Full of curiosity. So, who’s coming with me into the marvellous world of wonder?”
The show is set to be an immersive experience with lots of amazing surprises around every corner. Plus, a goody bag filled with Jessica Slack Studio merch for everyone who comes! There’s even a chance to win a painting in the charity raffle for Claire House Children’s Hospice!”
The event will start at 5pm and finish at 11pm. Bring your friends, dress to impress, bring positive vibes and let’s have a wonderful time!
