Future Station – Beach Huts Launch
Location: The first Beach Hut outside the Exhibition Centre at 2pm on 11th June. See map below
Metal Liverpool’s Future Station events are aimed at artists and creative practitioners in the Northwest.
This special edition will introduce our Beach Huts project, part of the International Festival of Business 2016.
The project will see a line of Beach Huts running along Liverpool Waterfront, occupied by artists, makers, poets, performers and entrepreneurs. Stretching from the Strand to the Exhibition Centre, the Huts will animate the area with performances, participatory workshops, conversations and ideas, providing a celebration of British Culture, new technologies, art and DIY enterprises.
Future Station will provide the opportunity to meet the artists involved in the Beach Huts and to have a discussion about the impact of creative and digital industries and what we mean by the Northern Powerhouse.
There’s no need to book: just meet at the first Beach Hut outside the Exhibition Centre at 14.00 on Saturday 11 June. See map below for the exact location of the Metal Beach Hut.
