There will be ample time to practise sewing pieces together in preparation for the second class.
Class Two – Cutting and Assembly – 2 hours
The second class will concentrate on using the pre prepared pattern to cut out the material. You will provided with a pattern of your choice in the correct size and will have an opportunity to make a copy of the pattern to take home so you can make as many shorts and trousers as you like. After all the material is cut out you can begin sewing certain sections of the shorts or trousers together ready to finish off in the third and final class.
Class Three – Overlocking and Finishing – 2 hours
The remaining panels can be finished off at the beginning of the third class and the raw edges of the fabric will need to be finished off to create a neat edge using an over locker. The Hem and elastic waistband will be added at this point to complete the shorts or pants.
