Wil Goodwin from Merseyside Foraging Network guides us on a wild food hunt around Sudley Estate
Join Merseyside Foraging Network’s Wil Goodwin to discover what edible, nutritious and free food can be found around Sudley Estate. Guaranteed to produce surprises! We’ll finish the session with herbal teas in the walled garden.
Minimum donation £10, and suitable for all ages. Bring a basket or bag and gloves if you like.
Please note that you should ensure you’re not allergic to a particular plant species before deciding whether to try, Wil’s guidance will be around edible wild food but not individual tolerances.
All practitioners are donating their time for free, and funds from this event will be in support of the community crowdfunder to fund renewable technology to make our refurbishment of a derelict building low carbon for a greener future – for more information see www.spacehive.com/growingsudleyeco
All events and activities will be risk assessed and supervised by staff with DBS enhanced disclosure. We will operate under government guidance on covid, with measures in place to avoid spread. We are outdoors so there is no need to wear a mask unless you wish to, but we ask that households remain socially distanced.
