Relief Printmaking: Laser-cut and found parts

Get Creative!!

At the Cass Store Liverpool, learn how to create a simple relief printing plate by using

laser-cut and found parts. This is a two-day workshop, spread over the weekend, due to drying times. The materials that you will be using are acrylic, wood and mount-board.

Relief printing is making prints created from a raised design on a flat surface (plate). The plate is inked or covered with colour and then stamped on paper or fabric to create a final print. Once you have made your plate/stamp, it is yours to keep!!

As a freelance mixed-media artist/designer, Vicki Opomu’s previous work is with the Granby Workshop, winner of the Turner Prize 2015.

After working with the Granby Workshop, Vicki carried on marbling and producing graphic/art prints to be used over a plethora of media or products for her own website.

All are welcome to attend, with no experience necessary and all materials are provided.
