Williamson Art Gallery: General Drawing & Painting Classes

Venue: Williamson Art Gallery & Museum
Date(s): 22.4.16
Time(s): 10:00 - 12:00

Due to the demand for drawing and painting classes at the Williamson Art Gallery & Museum – we have now created a new course to run on Friday mornings.

The course is designed for beginners, those who want to brush up on existing skills and also for those who just want a relaxing space to create art work with the benefit of advice and support from the tutor and the group.

This is a general art course and each session is designed to explore different media and techniques to help improve your drawing, painting and creative skills. The sessions will cover drawing and painting techniques and includes sessions that explore mixed media.

We will be using our specially designed and equipped art room for some sessions but will also be drawing on gallery and visiting other venues such as Birkenhead Priory, Lady Lever Gallery and exploring some of the events and happenings going on in Liverpool. We also have guest artists visiting to deliver sessions on portraiture and landscape.

The course begins on Friday 22 April 2016 starting at 10.00 and runs until 12.00. The cost is £50 for the ten week course.
