
Homotopia Festival Artist In Residence 2021, Jade Anouka
We’re very excited to introduce Jade Anouka as this year’s Artist In Residence. Join Jade for a series of events, performances and workshops during her residency in Liverpool and online. Â
Jade Anouka is a film, TV and theatre actor, poet and writer. She has recently appeared in the BBC’s adaptation of Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials. Jade also wrote, directed and co-starred in the short film Her & Her for BBC’s Culture In Quarantine, and has held a TEDxTalk entitled Being Black, Being a Woman, Being ‘Other’.

Written and performed by Jade, HEART is her first full theatre play.
Fri 5 Nov, 5pm, Unity Theatre.
Hosted by Jade Anouka with filmmaker and director Campbell X, this is an opportunity for Merseyside based QTIPBoC folks to meet and share.

We’ve invited Jade to share the secrets behind her incredible performance poetry with a very special workshop.
