MAKING SENSE OF ART: SHARING IDEAS ABOUT ART IN SOCIETY

Making Sense of Art is an introductory course for people aged 19 and over and will share ideas about art in society. Led by artist Nina Edge, this eight week course will feature workshops led by local artists and curators, practical art making sessions in the studio and tours of Tate Liverpool and other local museums. No previous experience or knowledge of art is necessary and participants will have the opportunity to gain a City of Liverpool College certificate. Making Sense of Art is a community learning partnership developed jointly between Tate Liverpool and The City of Liverpool College.

Course Option 1
Tuesdays 11, 18, 25 October and 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 November 2016
Takes place at The Florrie, 377 Mill Street, Dingle, Liverpool, L8 4RF and Tate Liverpool.

Course Option 2
Wednesdays
12, 19, 26 October and 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 November 2016
