Join Wil Goodwin, expert forager and cordage extraordinaire for an afternoon of learning how to use natural fibres.
In this 2 hour workshop you will learn how to:
– recognise suitable plants,
– harvest and prepare plants by extracting the fibres
– make your own natural cordage from a selection of plants.
By the end of the session you will have your own bracelet or necklace made from plant fibres.
Course fees includes cordage samples and a free cord making tool for each participant.
Some of the session will take place outside in the community garden at Make Hamilton so please wear suitable clothes to stay dry if the weather isn’t great!
