This conference gathers researchers, curators, artists and writers to explore the Biennial form as the site for the production of contemporaneity in art and exhibition making. Participants include Terry Smith, Michael Elmgreen and Ingar Dragset, Marina Fokidis, Juliana Engberg, Elvira Dyangani Ose, Geoff Cox, Jacob Lund, Verina Gfader, Anne Kølbæk Iversen, Francesco Manacorda, and convened by Joasia Krysa.
Organised in partnership with Aarhus University’s The Contemporary Condition research project and Liverpool John Moores University’s Exhibition Research Lab.
