HeadSpace: Half and Half
‘Half and Half’ showcases work exclusively made by members of staff at the Egg Café. The exhibition will showcase a variety of disciplines including: sculpture, graffiti, installation, photography, illustration, painting, textiles, the written word and drawing. With such a broad skill set available it seemed inevitable that a show would come together in this space, a space where we spend many hours working together. Each staff member has responded to this opportunity in a different manner, exploring themes of identity, religion, personal/professional relationships, memory, sexuality, politics, popular culture and the value of personal expression. The exhibition includes individual works, collaborations with staff members, customers and the building itself so be sure to explore every wall, beam and appliance for hidden gems.
