Grrrl Power Liverpool emphasises the importance of encouraging creative women to work together. The initiative has been created in response to the problems and potential pitfalls faced by women in the arts.
The group feel women are hugely underrepresented in comparison to their male counterparts within this sector, and their aim to address this imbalance by encouraging and developing safe environments in Liverpool where women have the capacity to thrive creatively.
