Artist Sarah Marsh will lead a drop-in creative workshop for children with autism and other social communication issues, their siblings, families and carers. Sarah will use Tate Liverpool’s summer exhibition Francis Bacon: Invisible Rooms as a starting point for exploring sensory materials. This workshop aims to give families the opportunity to take part in Tate Liverpool’s creative family programme at their own pace. The session will run from the Clore Learning Centre which will be closed to the general public. Families can use the three adjoining spaces; the studio where Sarah will lead the hands-on activity, the quiet space to relax in, and the family space which has been designed with artist Andrea Pazos where families can play with colour, images and projections.
