You’ll enjoy a different creative craft to make lovely things each week in the warm, friendly workspace here in our Studio.
Marbling, cross-stitch, design your own mindful colouring pages, handwoven coasters, zentangle, book making, papercut collage are just a few of the activities you might enjoy.
Your tutor is Jane Bedford whose intricate, delicate ink and stitched work is on display here in the Gallery where Jane is a resident artist.
Materials and tools needed during the class are provided for you.
You will be working in a warm, creative and inspiring environment inside the Studio where other resident artists work is on display. There is good natural light, parking right at the door in our own car park, central heating and double glazing to keep you feeling cosy!
Each class lasts for 2 hours and runs for 4 weeks, but if you wish to continue on a regular basis then the course will roll on throughout the year if numbers permit.
The next class begins on Tuesday January 10, 17, 24, 31 10am till 12.
Jane’s work is beautiful, intricate & carries sensitive messages borne from deeply moving life experiences. She often works with fabrics, ink & stitch in detailed studies inspired by natural forms. A recent body of Jane’s work ‘Afraid to Speak’ was shown here in March 2016 accompanied by a published collection of poetry which inspired the collection. Jane passes on her craft skills in a series of workshops & classes here in the Studio where you can work in the peaceful, inspiring calm environment that Jane creates with her sunny, caring personality.
