Art of Solidarity
Cuban posters for African liberation 1967 – 1989
13 January to 18 June 2017
Part of a rarely-seen, private collection, Art of Solidarity features more than 30 posters produced by the Organisation in Solidarity with the People of Africa, Asia and Latin America (OSPAAAL).
Beautifully designed examples of graphic art, these iconic posters reveal the idealistic spirit of the Cuban Revolution intent on fighting imperialism, globalisation and defending human rights.
Art of Solidarity is the first exhibition to focus on OSPAAAL’s campaigning links with Africa.
