The Thursday Art Club Exhibition

Annual Exhibition by The Thursday Art Club. The group consists of a group of local artists who have been meeting for a number of years to exchange views and ideas and to share their common interest in art and it’s production.
Meeting regularly at the Citadel Arts Centre on Thursday mornings, or in the community room in St.Helens Central Library on Thursday evenings. Both groups work in a variety of media and come together each year for an exhibition.
This exhibition, based on the group’s regular life and portrait sessions reveals not only finished artworks but also the development of ideas, techniques and the use of different media.
“The Annual Exhibition has been running for over 10 years now,” says Co-ordinator Wyn Read. “We are displaying new and exciting original works which we are sure the public will enjoy.”
Arts Development Manager Cath Shea says, “We are delighted to host an exhibition by one of the towns most active art groups and hope that the St Helens people will come to visit the show and support this local collective.”
