Music & Poetry for Japan at Liv Uni VGM, 21 June

Date: Tuesday, 21 June, 1- 2pm

The University of Liverpool’s Japanese Students Group & Natural Collaboration is organising a lunchtime concert in aid of the victims of the Tokuhu Earthquake and Tsunami.

This concert will comprise Korean traditional music, performed by geomungo player Eun-Jung Kim and readings from the work of William Wordsworth, alongside translations of haiku from notable poets including the 17th century Japanese master Matsuo Basho.

Suggested donation of £2, no booking required.
All proceeds will go to British Red Cross Japan Tsunami appeal.
