Please dress to get messy as we encourage active involvement from all the family, whatever age they are. The Williamson are aware that families come in all varieties. The gallery building is fully accessible and the art room has special tables which can be raised and lowered if required.
There is a reasonably priced cafe on site with children’s lunch bags for £3 (Lunch bag includes: ham, cheese or tuna roll; crisps or Pom bears; fruit; chocolate treat; carton drink). the building has free wifi and carpark attached to the gallery as well as on street parking. The workshops are FREE but we ask for a small donation to help buy materials if you are in a position to give. Come and have fun and get whoever brings you to join in too – they will love it!
We are delighted that although the funding from PH Holt Foundation has come to an end to fund our free drop in family workshops at the Williamson, the project is now financed through the Williamson and Priory Friends and donations from visitors.
