Come and join us for a unique presentation of our art project ‘Me. You. Them. Everybody’ for asylum seekers and refugees in Liverpool.
There will be a presentation of art works by participants inspired by the art classes and local visits, a public art class drop-in and informal conversations.
‘Me. You. Them. Everybody’ is an art project developed collaboratively with the curator Adi Lerer and the British Red Cross Merseyside. It is a five week art project using art as an enabler for wellbeing and inclusion. Alongside the art classes, the participants visited Tate Liverpool OP collection and the current Keith Haring exhibition, Walker Art Gallery and central library in Liverpool. This enabled them to experience what the city can offer and give them a sense that they are welcomed. The classes were led by the local artists Ami Zanders and Benyamin Roghanchi, and took place at Tate Liverpool Clore Studio.
