Liverpool: A Sense of Place
Exhibition by Clare Flinn at Staacks
Liverpool is Clare’s adopted home. This collection of paintings and prints have been motivated by her rambles around the city, with a camera or sketchbook, and reflect whatever catches her eye, be it a reference to the city’s history, a favourite building or one of Liverpool’s wild spaces.
Capturing light, colour and surface marks are Clare’s preoccupations as an artist. She has recently finished a degree in Fine Art at Wirral Metropolitan College, and works from a studio in the Elevator Building in Parliament Street.
