Jake Thorne leads a series of three reading groups for Open Eye Gallery, navigating the driving forces of individual experience, art as protest and shared experience found in Muholi’s photography. Reflecting that the written word can share the same communicatic territory as photography, the reading sessions take place amidst the portraits of Faces and Phases.
