Join artist Laleh Kamalian in this 2-hour ceramic painting workshop. You will learn how to paint lovely flower and heart patterns on a ceramic mug or a tile/coaster with special ceramic paint.
In this workshop you will be given a chance to practice painting patterns before moving on to a mug and a coaster/tile. Short breaks will be provided to let the paint dry, during which you are welcome to buy from Merseymade’s lovely Scribble Cafe downstairs. At the end of the workshop, you will take your creations home to let them dry for a further 24 hours. You will need to bake them in your kitchen oven according to a clear and easy instruction sheet provided to you. This final step will make your hand-painted patterns permanent and dishwasher safe.
Suitable for anybody over the age of 16 and for all the levels.

A set of 20 ml bottles of Pebeo 150 ceramic paint in 6 vibrant colours
A set of 6 paint brushes in different sizes
One plain ceramic mug and coaster/tile
2 sheets of drafting film to practice on
One plastic paint pellet for mixing colours
A copy of the instructions of how to bake the painted ceramic
So you’ll be able to continue creating your own hand painted ceramicware at home!
