Maker Meet Up: a chance for makers tof all types to talk, share and connect.
This is a chance for the city region’s community of makers to get together every once in a while to showcase their work, meet other makers, ad discuss the maker movement happening in the city.
The seventh istalment of our Maker Meet Up brings us another evening of all things making!
So far on our list of speakers is Kirsty from The Liverpool Weaving Company, Liverpool’s first and only micro mill. Kirsty creates and desigs bespoke tweed and artisan cloth. Kirsty has worked for some amazing companies, including her own. (With some very high fashion labels!!) Kirsty will be giving us the low down on what its like to be a weaver and telling us her very interesting stories!
Next is Alex Turner, not the famous frontman, but just as talented. Alex is a graphic deisgners who has used his talents to design and launch his own clothing line, No Mind Collective, Alex will be talking about the process of his launch and what inspired him.
