Attention all makers and doers! Our popular Maker Meetup is back and better than ever, and it’s happening right here at Make!

This informal event is a great opportunity for creatives in the industry to connect, collaborate, and get inspired by their peers.

This time, we’re focusing on the theme of renewal and starting fresh. Whether you’re looking to kick off a new project, refresh your creative practice, or simply meet new people, this event is the perfect place to do it.

We’ll be joined by some of the team from Liverpool Biennial 2023 to hear about their plans for the upcoming festival this summer which is happening across the city, including a very familiar venue in the North Docks! They’ll be sharing information ahead of their official announcement in March and are interested to meet and discuss plans with artists and creatives living and working locally.

Liverpool Biennial 2023 is curated by Khanyisile Mbongwa. Entitled uMoya: The Sacred Return of Lost Things, it runs 10 June – 17 September.

The event will run from 6:00PM-8:00 PM at Make North Docks and will include:

  • Introduction from the Make team: Find out what we do and hear about our enterprise support program
  • Hear plans from the team at Liverpool Biennial 2023
  • 60 second spotlights: Showcase your work or share your ideas with the group (optional)
  • Networking: Connect with other makers and doers in the industry
  • Grab a drink: We’ll have complimentary refreshments available to enjoy while you mingle

Whether you’re a seasoned maker or just starting out, this event is open to anyone who wants to connect with like-minded creatives. So come join us at Make and see what this vibrant community has to offer! We can’t wait to see you there.
