Craft Your Own Glove Puppet
Learn to design and build your own paper-machè and cloth glove puppet in this two day, in-depth course with professional Puppeteer and founder of Puppetuity, Chris Wylie.
Chris has performed at the Shambala Festival, and various theaters around the country, and tutors at the London School of Puppetry, and now he’s running his own glove-puppet making class.
This two-day course will teach you how to design and make paper mache head and hands, followed which will be left to dry over the week. The second day of this course will consist of making the fabric glove-body of the puppet, assembling the puppet, and learning basic movements. At the end of the course you should have a constructed puppet that is ready to take home and be painted, dressed, and made your own!
