Sunday & Monday 1-2 May 2016, 12.00 – 18.00
After an incredible response to last year’s weekend events, the artisans are heading North once again to the magnificent Croxteth Hall.
A Sunday & Monday Bank Holiday weekend devoted to the celebration of beautifully crafted items, products, world foods & drinks.. we’ll have demonstrations, workshops, education & entertainment including live performers..
Croxteth Hall dates from 1575 and is the former country estate and ancestral home of the Molyneux family, the Earls of Sefton.
The Hall and grounds are steeped in history & will be open FREE to the public (There is normally a charge for the Hall but it’s all free entry during this event).
Inside the Hall you will find the most exquisite & well preserved features.
Bathed in light the Hall comes to life with incredible tours & tales relayed by traditionally dressed volunteers passionate about the heritage of Liverpool
Enjoy the Victorian Walled Garden’s fine collection of old fruit trees and visit the glasshouses – home to Liverpool’s historic botanical collection.
Explore well preserved landscape of woodlands, pastures and ponds in Croxteth Local Nature Reserve – a wonderful place to see wildlife of all kinds….something here on this Bank Holiday for every single member of the family.
Plentiful free parking, disabled access & free access to the Hall, all outdoor areas are dog friendly.
