See our floral sculpture installation made by artist Ruth Moilliet and our visitors

Renowned sculptor Ruth Moilliet led a series of free workshops at Kirkby Gallery to create colourful flower sculptures from recycled plastic materials. Here, the individual blooms will come together in one glorious display.

Get creative in our Gazebo – join in with free art activities for all ages!

You can enjoy working with a range of our artists and learn new skills throughout the day: Plein air drawing & painting with Harry Garner and Gill Cowley – it’s also a great way of finding more out about Kirkby Gallery’s Saturday Art Clubs and art courses.

Recycled textiles workshop with Hilary – come along and try some new sewing techniques and make something to take home.

Make your own flower with Cath Woods – be inspired by Ruth Moilliet’s stunning sculpture.

Our gazebo will be full of fun drawing and painting activities for all.

Put yourself in the picture with our portraits – we will have 5 freestanding ‘end of the pier’ style cut-outs inspired by famous artists for you to enjoy and take selfies with!

Please note, children under 8 must be accompanied throughout, and you may need to wait at busy times.
