Felting is one of the most ancient forms of making a textile. Catherine was lucky to study felting in Finland during her University studies and is now a full time Artist based in Liverpool. On this 3 session course, she will teach you the techniques involved to create 3 magical projects:

  1. An art piece ( 2D landscape or textural abstract ) includes basic hand stitch techniques.
  2. A set of flower decorations which can be used as gifts, brooch, hair pin
  3. A 3D form – either a trinket bowl, phone/ kindle cover, book cover

You will have access to over 50 shades of high quality merino wool, silks, mohairs and other exotic fibres. Each session Catherine will provide you with a notes booklet ‘method’ to take away which includes suppliers.

NOTE – Each session requires the purchase of fibres which Catherine sells in packs for £5 (mix & match colours of any choice quantity sufficient for each project). All other materials and equipment such as felting needles will also be available for purchase, but you may take your own.
