Are you looking for a creative way to meet new people and unwind in a relaxed, welcoming space? Join us at the Lady Lever Art Gallery for a calming, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the basics of this beautiful printing technique, followed by a friendly social over a hot drink from the café (on us!).

During this friendly and informal session you’ll be guided through the process of creating your own prints using lino cutting, a technique which allows you to create dramatic monochrome artworks using negative space. Guided by our friendly facilitators, you’ll explore this fun and accessible process and make your own beautiful unique prints to take home.

No previous experience is needed. Just bring your curiosity and willingness to try something new. This session is designed especially for adults who want to stay creative, explore mindful making, and build connections with others in a supportive and informal environment.

While our prints are drying we’ll take time to relax together over a hot drink in the Lady Lever café, giving you the chance to chat, connect, and share your experience with others who also enjoy creativity and conversation.

The Lady Lever Art Gallery offers a peaceful space for creativity, surrounded by art, history, and nature. It’s the perfect backdrop for trying something new and meeting people who value creativity, conversation, and community.

This session is ideal for adults of all ages who want to stay creative, meet new people, or simply enjoy a mindful, sociable break from the everyday.

Tickets cost £20 which includes full instruction from our friendly facilitator, all materials, and a drink in the café after the making session.
