Penny Whitehead A two-day studio exhibition
10 – 11 December 2010, 11.00 – 16.00
A series of spontaneous one-day actions made during a 3-month residency in Linz, Austria, as part of the Linz ’09 European Capital of Culture programme. Thinking critically about our roles within the Capital of Culture city image-making game, we aimed to bring to the surface some of the more contentious local issues and struggles that we encountered, framing them within wider debates around freedom, migration, paranoia and the control of public space.
