Edge Hill Pavilion – Bootworks

Exhibition ImageBootworks Theatre Collective
Workshops Mon & Tues 25 & 26 August 2008
Performances Thurs 28 & Fri 29 August
See two of their latest shows, watch the films that inspired them, and learn how to make work the Black Box way!

Bootworks is a theatre collective making a reputation as one of the UK’s most innovative and
unique theatre companies. They are a group of multi‐disciplinary artists committed to making high quality and innovative street art and performance. They perform a five minute theatre piece, to an audience of one, in their self fabricated travelling black box.

Take a trip inside ‘The Box’ for a look into this twisted, cinematic world.

See Bootworks Theatre embark on their most surreal adventure with ‘Une Boite Andalouse’: A live reworking of Dali and Bunuel’s surrealist masterpiece; ‘Un Chien Andalou’, an eyeball slicing, horse-dragging treat. Also ‘The Good, The Bad and The Box’, inspired by the classic western ‘The Good, The Bad & The Ugly’, staring Client Eastwood

A unique theatrical experience on every level. A delight for the imagination. An amazing sensory
theatrical experience.
