He also depicts the role of recycling adopted by local artist collective Red Dot,which he helped set up.
“For example, I show photographs of the various activities that took place in the two Recycling Weeks we staged in the city in 2008 – the first ever held in the city –Â and in 2009,” said Serjent,” as well as the workshops we held, where the participants made artwork from recycled items, and exhibitions we staged, in which all the artwork had been created from collected disused materials.”
Other proponents of Liverpool-based recycling Serjent features are Bulky Bob’s, which offer a household waste collection service, of which the items are then reconditioned and sold at a low cost to city residents; Otterspool Household Waste Recycling Centre; and Valley Fields Environmental Services, who offer NVQ’s in Recycling and Waste Management.
