Jasmine is an A Level art student, who after taking a large interest in Liverpool Biennial 2012, decided to hold a solo exhibition taking inspiration from the artists she had seen.
‘Refugees, Asylum Seekers and Attitudes Towards Women in the Middle East,’ aims to show the public the effects negative attitudes and stereotypes have on these people; emotionally and physically. Â Jasmine wants to encourage people to question why these negative attitudes exist, and to change the way we perceive people from foreign countries; particularly people from the Middle East.
The exhibition includes drawings, oil paintings, mixed media and textile pieces.
