New Works, An Exhibition of Recent Paintings by Gareth Kemp
This is an exhibition of new paintings by Gareth Kemp. Kemp is an artist based in the Bridewell Studios in Liverpool, and has been using their gallery space as a studio for the past six weeks. The aim has been to work away from his studio during this time in order to make new paintings that move in a new direction from previous work. New paintings include Landscapes of foreign lands constructed from photographs of house plants. These are interspersed by abstract paintings of flags of fictional countries
The exhibition takes place in the gallery within The Bridewell Studios and Gallery, housed in a former police station.
