Three more shows have been confirmed for the 2006 Summer Pops, as the bill for the city’s showpiece musical event really starts to hot up.
Superstar Irish boy band WESTLIFE, pop sensations SUGABABES and a second night by SIMPLY RED have been added to the line-up at the Big Top Arena, which already boasts a double sell-out by rock legends The Who, along with shows by Il Divo, Bryan Adams, Ronan Keating, Simple Minds, Whitesnake, James Brown and Oscar Peterson.
More big names are being promised by organisers CMP Entertainment, with announcements over the weeks to come.
Now in it’s 6th year, and with an estimated 500,000 people having attended shows at the Big Top Arena, the Summer Pops have grown into one of the most important musical events in Europe.
