Culturepool 2nd Birthday Party at View Two

From Culturepool

Well, believe it or not culturepool is 2 years old!!! We’re celebrating this momentous occasion by joining an audio and visual extravaganza at the View Two Gallery on Mathew Street. A chance to catch up, chill out and have a couple of cold ones…

Above the Beaten Track is an antidote to the Mathew Street Festival where you can enjoy the music of local talented musicians but without the crowds (and Beatle wigs!).

Featuring Tom George (as seen at last year’s party!), Ragz, Strawhouses, Kaya, Dan Wilson from The Cubical, Alun Parry and many, many more (over 30 in fact). The weekend is being presented by Mellowtone who hosted the fabulous night at Parr Street last November.

This isn’t head bangy stuff… it’s a bit of a acoustic, bit of chilled reggae and other mellow tunes.

Our lovely friends at Mellowtone have given us a special price – you can get a ticket for Saturday for just £3 or a weekend pass for £4! Just pay at the door and say you’re with culturepool to get the discount.

Music from 2pm til late but we’ll be there from 4pm til 7pm on the Saturday. To be honest we’ll probably be there all weekend…

It’s been an amazing couple of years where we’ve met lots of wonderful people at the 38 events we’ve arranged. We’d like to thank everyone for making culturepool such a huge success; those who’ve come along to events, artists, performers and venues.

The View Two Gallery has restricted access, please check with the gallery for more details.
