The Print Social Meet Up

print-social-bannerThursday 9 July 2015, 18.00 at Golden Square Coffee, 28-32 Wood St, Liverpool

See MeetUp details here

The Print Social is a new event only on its soon to be third meet up. We have been lucky enough to hold each event in the awesome Golden Square Coffee on Wood St. (In the old Open Eye Gallery Space).

Its a relaxed get together for anyone interested in printmaking, thats anyone from established artists to donkey farmers who just want a new hobby.

The Print Social was formed by a group of friends in Liverpool who are excited about traditional print methods and were looking for a way to meet similar folk.
The group is intended to provide a platform for both experienced and inexperienced printmakers (as well as those who have yet to try printmaking) to share knowledge and get involved in exhibitions and bigger projects
We organise a meetup every couple of months to get out of the studio, grab a coffee or a beer and chat about what we’ve been working on.
This gives us a great opportunity to discuss ideas, solve technical problems and share tips on the best places to buy materials.
In the spirit of collaboration, we also intend to host a series of exhibitions that showcase how much you can do with printmaking.
So far we have held an open call for submissions for our Super Happy Fun Times exhibition which we plan to run in August 2015.
We can’t wait to show you the work we’ve received as it’s really blown us away how much talent there is around!
If this sounds like its up your street then come along to our third meet up at Golden Square Coffee on Thursday 9th July.
