‘Sketch Crawl’ With Liverpool Urban Sketchers

Jannine-street

‘Sketch Crawl‘ With Liverpool Urban Sketchers Saturday 11th July 2015. Meet 11-30 am Lark Lane Art Works Liverpool.

Open to Anyone and Everyone

The Liverpool Urban Sketching phenomenon began when artist, Paul Gatenby invited friends to go out sketching in December. Paul then published a programme of sketching days on Facebook and Artinliverpool and invited anyone and everyone.

Paul explains “The movement began in 2007 when a journalist and artist in Seattle began sharing drawings on the internet, since then the Urban Sketching Movement has become a global phenomenon.”

Paul Cont’d “ When you live somewhere that looks as good as Liverpool – you gotta draw it!”

Alex says “Great for First time Sketcher s.   All they need to do is bring themselves, friends if they like and a sketchbook (small,or large) pen, pencils, whatever they feel comfortable with. We’ll be meeting first and they can get to know folks at Lark Lane Art Works.”
