Pronounced: Colour House [/ˈkʌl.ə(ɹ)/ /haʊs/]
kulle.houzz will be taking over a student house in Liverpool converting it into an artificial colour environment spread across three floors, each saturated in colour, one red, one green and one blue that immerse the visitor in a completely monochrome situation. This experience creates disturbances in the retina, accustomed to receive a wide range of colours simultaneously. The saturation of colour can act as a trigger, activating in the visitor, the notion of colour as a material or physical situation.
In the basement, kulle.houzz explores the physical makeup of light; using red, green, and blue bulbs combining to create white light, immersing the visitor in an environment in which they themselves become a live part of the work.
