Birkenhead Priory: Picnic in the Priory

Picnic in the Priory is a family-friendly celebration of the developments and activities that have taken place at the Birkenhead Priory precinct over the last 12 months. The event will provide a great opportunity to bring together the staff, volunteers and professional teams that have been involved over the year in a grand celebration.

The event will include a charity abseil with 20 dedicated fundraisers descending St Mary’s Tower, a sensational summer raffle, outdoor games, merchandise stall, children’s craft/art activity and Wirral Transport Museum will be bringing a selection of vehicles to showcase on site.

People attending should bring a picnic and picnic blanket but there will be a  small café will be set up to offer light refreshments which will include tea, coffee, soft drinks and cake. The site is on undulating terrain and caution should be taken in parts whilst in this historic venue.
