ART AID AUCTION Liverpool for Japan
THURSDAY 12 May 2011, 18.00 – 20.00 at Studio2 Parr Street
An Art Auction “Art Aid” in support of the victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Art Aid is the brainchild of local artist David Knopov and Parr Street Studios co-owner Gary Millar in partnership with Art in Liverpool and Liverpool for Japan. The event has already attracted donations of art and photographs from local and international artists. The first contributing artists include Judah Passow (award winning photographer), Steve Best and playwright Willy Russell – with more to come. The proceeds go to the British Red Cross Japan Tsunami Appeal.
