Cesar Gonzales Serpa – ‘The Essential It’s Invisible’ at 3345 Parr St

Went to the Private View this evening and met the artist, Cesar, who is now based in Venezuela.
The photographs were taken using a long exposure, about 20 seconds, with very little light (The Essential) but Cesar would use a small torch or other light source to draw shapes and play with the light.
Many of the faces have been painted quite brightly giving a good contrast with the dark background.
