The exhibition is in the old Rapid Paint Shop on Renshaw Street, where the Cooperative were during the Biennial.

Home is where the heART is – An Exhibtion of Refugee and Local Art
11th – 23rd December 2010 at 28-32 Renshaw St, Liverpool (Shops Up Front)

The ‘Home is Where the HeArt is’ exhibition has been organized by the Liverpool branch of Amnesty International, in an effort to bring together different local communities in a common artistic goal.

The exhibition consists of work by local artists and refugees based in the Liverpool area, exhibiting pieces on the theme of home and belonging. The event is aimed at celebrating the contribution that refugees make to the UK, and encouraging a better understanding between communities.

The event is also supported by Sola Arts, a not-for profit participatory arts project, with the objective of social inclusion and integration, education and empowerment through the arts.
