Some very nice work in this one-day exhibition and art sale at FACT last night. We bought an excellent drawing by Edward Timmons at a bargain price.
Hopefully there will be more of these pop-up shows, there appeared to be quite a good turnout and good sales.
The ‘Imagine on Canvas’ event supports Alder Hey Imagine Appeal.
Eminent North-West artists including Elaine Preece Stanley, Frances Timmons and Edward Timmons donated 80 exclusive pieces of art from their own collections to be sold at Imagine on Canvas and 100% of the money raised will go to help the work of the world famous children’s hospital.
