Liverpool’s Largest Arts Market Ever

Open Culture presents Liverpool’s largest arts market ever: a huge festive shopping extravaganza where you can find  the most distinctive gifts in the glorious surroundings of historic St George’s Hall.

A rare chance to ‘shop local’ and  purchase work from over 80 of the North West’s most skilled artists and makers; you will find thousands of unique  items including: jewellery, paintings, homewares, sculpture, textiles, beauty products, prints, photography, plus  vintage items and much more.

This year’s event also features a special Feel Good Fair where local health and wellbeing  organisations will present a range of inspiring ways to beat the winter blues!

Feel good in this Year of Health &  Wellbeing and connect with local creative’s, spark your curiosity, be inspired to do something new, rediscover a forgotten talent or purchase the best of handmade creations, from a whole host of artists and organisations.

St George’s  Hall Heritage Centre will be open to show visitors the fascinating past of the Hall and it’s place in Liverpool’s  history, plus the café beneath the antique organ with serve festive food and drink.

Phil Redmond said, “This is one of  those really special legacy events from what we started in ’08. It brings together a mass of creativity from across the  region into one of Liverpool’s most remarkable venues. It’s a good thing for the city, and a move away from the same  old things you find on the high street”

Christina Grogan Event Organiser said, “For 2010 a new addition to the event will be the Feel Good Fair which aims to get people smiling and inspire them with new ways to feel good – especially  useful if your mood turns with the change of the seasons! Of course I’ll be doing some Christmas shopping at the Winter  Arts Market because I had so many happy friends and family from all the treasures I found for them last time’

Entrance  on the day is just £1; children under 16 years enter for FREE!
