At Arena until June 20th is ‘Nova’, the final year exhibition by HND/C Fine Art students from Liverpool Community College. There’s a real mix of media; painting, printing, video, sculpture etc.
I liked the whole show but pictured here are ceramic frogs with electric train set by Rose Bonthrone, a large figurative painting by Dee Foy, a print in bold colours by Violet Woods and one of Rachel Davies’s many sculpted rabbits.
The other artists are: Su Armer, Paul Bratt, Lauren Brehany, Sara Cox, Helene Dougherty, Dagny Garmann, Stuart McCarthy, Paul Shawcross, Catherine Stevenson, Sarah White and Mary Calvert.
The Arena gallery will be open 10-16.00 Monday to Saturday.
