Registrations for entrance into the challenge commence on 2nd June 2006 and closes at midnight on 9th June 2006.
The challenge will begin with the sending of the 5 element e-mail at 09:00 on 10th June 2006 and end at 09:00 on 12th June 2006.
All completed films must be delivered to the organisers between 07:00 and 09:00 on 12th June 2006.
Over the weekend of the 10th & 11th June 2006, Liverpool48.com are offering you the chance to participate in the city’s first 48 hour film making challenge.
Teams from all over the world will compete to see who can make the best short film and win prizes worth thousands of pounds.
Your work will be judged by a panel of leading industry figures as well as the general public, who will get an opportunity to view the completed films both online and at selected screenings throughout the city.
Devised to coincide with Liverpool’s Downtown Week, the voting will run throughout the week and culminate in an awards evening for the best films at a leading downtown Liverpool location.
Members of the general public will be able to view the completed films online at Liverpool48.com as well as selected venues in downtown Liverpool.
The public vote will consist of a single vote for their favourite film either from the viewing area of this site or via text message.
The voting period will end at midnight on 15th June 2006 when each film will be ranked by both the judging panel’s overall mark and that of the public vote.
The film that receives the highest average ranking will be declared the winner.
In the event of a tie, the film that received the highest number of public votes will be declared the winner.
