The Good Sport exhibition at 5aThegallery in St Helens has been extended a further week until October 21 2006.
Amongst the many interesting items are some snow domes by Mandy Wilkinson which people pick up and shake without thinking that it may be a delicate artwork that should not be touched.
And the story of Lily Parr who was born in the area in 1899 and went on to become the greatest woman footballer and most prolific goalscorer in English footballing history.
This interesting exhibition highlights and shows a unique range of varied work created by 10 individual artists who are at varying stages of their careers living in the Northwest region and beyond. The exhibiting artists are Eleana Louka, Mandy Wilkinson, Paul Floyd Blake, Anne Barron, Paul Francis, Peter Owen, David Baird, Ken Hughes, Bernard Platt and Trademark.
