CALLING ALL ARTISTS LIVING AND WORKING IN LIVERPOOL
The City and the Self: Drawing Workshops
18-22 October 2006
You are invited to take part in a five-day drawing project run by artists from the Prince’s Drawing School in collaboration with Grizedale Arts at the A Foundation as part of this year’s Liverpool Biennial.
The project aims to encourage drawing as a means of exploring a city and the individual and to promote observational drawing as a way of developing an individual’s practice. The structure of the project has been inspired by the works of Wordsworth and the Romantic poets who were concerned with man’s relationship with the landscape.
The City and the Self is open to all artists living and working in Liverpool and or studying in the city.
